DNF again!
Well, after all these years its hard to believe, but Amazon seems to think that it will have Duke Nukem Forever to sell on the last day of 2004:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...195554-9644662 Strange that there's nothing on the 3drealms website about its impending release! Someone's pulling Amazon's plonker, I think (but I hope its true!).

DNF wasn't canned, it was started again from scratch, sometime in 2003 iirc.

To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

re: "There's no possible joke you could make about the game's development time that we haven't already heard."
An Irish man, an Englishman and a Scotsman walk into a pub. They say to the barman, "We'd like to pre-order a copy of DNF". The barman says, "Sorry sirs, we only sell beer." Bet he hasn't heard that one before... Nomadd |
