Let us know how it goes Spud...I'll be picking it up tomorrow, but if it's sucks it's got some stiff competition in GTA:VC, Prince of Persia:SOT, & UT2004 on order from Play...

only played a bit of it so far but so far so good, looks amazing, plays smoothly and seems to be off to a good start story wise, especially for a doom™ game =0

only problem so far is the sound keeps cutting out ;/ seems to be a general problem that lots of ppl are having....

Well Im no computer expert but I think, with your rig, u may get away with 640x480 Low quality settings at an average of 3-4 fps. No AF +AA

The game runs perfect on high quality @ 1280x1024 on a 9800 Pro 32-bit system.

Received my copy from the states sometime ago (couldnt wait for it to be released here).

    Graphics : Awesome !!!

    Gameplay : Old SKool Doom

though was kinda expecting it to be this way as doom was never intended to be like FarCry (with its advanced AI, and huge outdoor sunny maps).

Good for playing twice or thrice, though look forward to games based on this engine more. Imagine, COD on the Doom3 Engine
