Umm, forgive me, but I'm a new UT player (only got UT2004 a little while ago, is the first in the series I've played). What is Action UT then? A mod? What's it like?
:edit: I should read a little myself!
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Tried downloading it again, or re-installing it?
Haven't looked myself yet...

How does this compare to Action Quake? I used to love that mod, haven't played any Action ____ games since though. IMO, it was the second best mod of all time, after QuakeWorld Team Fortress.

have you guys sorted it out yet?
![]() I'm fairly sure it requires the latest retail patch - mine worked first time, so if you're not fully patched, that could be the answer. scotty Aaron - I reckon it's pretty good - dives aren't implemented yet, and the new akimbo system takes a while to get your head around - but it's fast, fun and completely insane - especially the team deathmatch rounds. I think once they get the rest of the handguns and weapons loaded, it will be much better. |

I quite enjoyed this mod. Considering this is the first release, it should turn out to be pretty good - new weapons, maps, etc.
And there's nothing quite like holding two shotguns/handcannons and blasting everything that moves
"Well, there was your Uncle Tiberius who died wrapped in cabbage leaves but we assumed that was a freak accident."
