Far Cry 2 style ATI Tech Demo

Downloaded it on the off chance it didn't NEED a X800 XT to run and it doesn't... (don't expect it to run quick unless you've got one - or a 6800 GT - though). EDIT: Actually - without 4x AA switched on - it runs just fine Last edited by malfunction; 04-12-2004 at 09:49 AM.. |

Runs fine on my 9600PRO at 1024*786 4*aa.. though a *bit* laggy when changing some scenes... but after the first second, its fine
 That was run after the computer had been up for many hours of gaming too... |

OMFG...
This mus realise the specs of your vid card and change... On a 9600pro it looks NOTHING like them pics  Theres a good reason for an upgrade then

Do you reckon Crytek will be able to use this for Far Cry 2? Or are we gonna have to wait a while for more powerful gfx cards to handle all this plus the AI, physics etc?

Looks good on my GF 6800GT, although i do get an odd blurryness on some areas of the screen. I ran through the demo a couple times and it happens in the same places. I got a screen shot of it here, the left hand side of the thing on the table is fine but there is a definate line down the middle where it gets blurry on the right hand side.
