Windows XP X64 And Xbox 360

This has been taken directly from The Inquirer:

'The launch of the Xbox 360 brought a new thing to the table: seamless connectivity between the world of consoles and personal computers. If you have Microsoft operating system, of course

As such, we have expected to be able to connect the Xbox 360 console to the modern, 64-bit capable computer running state-of-the-art 64-bit Operating System from Microsoft. Namely, Windows XP x64 Professional Edition.

However, this has turned to be a bigger problem than we originally thought. The sad fact is you can download connectivity software for Windows XP Home Edition with Service Pack 2, Windows XP Media Centre Edition, Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005 and even Windows XP Professional Edition – if it's a 32-bit variant (and running SP2). Sadly, Microsoft does not support x64 Windows of any kind, so forget about connecting it to the box. Xbox.

What's next, 64-bit Linux support for Xbox 360?'
