Theives Guild. Where is it?

Where is it? I've looked around most of the towns and can't find a thing.

you have to ask the beggars (in the imperial city) about the grey fox, make sure you have a high disposition towards them, they should tell you to meet armand christophe on the water front at 12.00 midnight and you get given a test to see if you are eligible for the thieves guild. I think thats correct, i'm at work at the mo so i can't check though.

If you don't want to talk to the beggars, you can get jailed for stealing and you can then find out how to join the Thieves guild, for the competition to get in.

On a similar note: I'm in the Blades: can I join the Mages guild and how would I do that?

As a general note i think its possible to join all the factions/guilds. To join the mages guild you need to speak to a guild representative in one of the smaller towns, such as anvil, they will tell you that you need a recommendation from each of the guild halls. To get each recommendation you will need to complete a small task at each guild hall.

For me the process went a bit like this. Get jailed in Anvil for stealing from the castle. While in cell sleep in bed to serve time. When I came out of the jail some guy approached me and told me to meet Armand Christophe at the back of the wooden houses in waterfront district @ 12am.

I'm on the very last quest of the main story at the mo. Just buying some potions after quite a massive battle. Then off I goes to do the deed with the very last dood. CAPITAL!

I have more magical swords and armour in my house and money coming out of my ears. It was definately a bonus finishing the theives guild quests first. CAPITAL!

I'm in the Blades, Bark Brotherhood and the Thieves guild at the moment, just been doing some Dark Brotherhood stuff. Lots of fun

I've just completed the thieves guild, last night, the last quest was fantastic, very indepth and took quite a while to complete, plus there were some badass enemies on it. Next on the list is to join the fighters guild i think, i'm saving the dark brotherhood till last, then i may do the main quest at some point

Arena - Grand Champion
Thieves - Footpad
Fighters - Apprentice
Mages - Apprentice
Dark Brotherhood - Silencer

not even closed the fiirst gate to busy doing side quests and guilds,
how do i join blades?

most fun guild ATM would be dark brotherhood but cant complete latest task, person i need is never there

you get put in blades during the main quest, i haven't advanced yet because i haven't been doing the main quest

Yeah, that was an awesome quest, shame you can't wear the hat around town though

I'm doing the Blades quests now, and I've started the Fighters Guild quests but not done too much.

I'm also a Vamprire now Pretty cool although can be a bit annoying when you haven't fed in a while and you die within 10 seconds of being in sunlight

The mages guild is pretty good, but only after you get into the univ. and the missions leading up to it are dull. The main quest isn't too bad, but i got bogged down with miscellaneous stuff after about a day. OB rules
