    COD2 Multiplayer Problem

I usually play COD2 online pretty much everynight without any problems at all.

However, this morning i was asked to update from 1.0 to 1.2, so i downloaded and installed the patch. I came to play online again, and it just wont allow me into any servers to play - the ones which do say that the product key is currently in use and try to reconnect later.

Anyone else had this problem or know of a solutions?

    Thanks

supposedly this is something to do with Illegal Copied versions of COD2 stealing your key...

From what i've read-there is a exe file that searches for a key that is not being used and applies it to the game......

Also known problems with the 1.2 patch is also you cant uninstal lthe patch once you have installed it-to uninstall it you have to uninstall the whole game

i think the best bet for you is have a look on the IW forum found Here and have a nosy around to what suggestiosn they come up with
