COD 3 not on PC's! DX10 rocks our world again...
I was shocked (and i mean pissed) that the next COD is skipping the pc and thought something and im wondering if anyone else thought the same? Does anyone else think that the reason they didn't release it for pc is because they feel it would either beaten too much by the other DX10 games coming out soon or are waiting to be able to release on dx10? (The second one is unlikely due to re-rendering costs but still...)

They probaby will in the end only a lot later than the Xbox 360 version, CoD2 wasn't all that mind you...
I know its a different company, but look at how long Condemned took to make the leap from the Xbox 360 to the PC and the same with Fear which has only just come out on the Xbox 360.

Doubt they are worried about being beaten by dx10 games - if they can make the dx9 one look quite good on the xbox then it'll be fine on PCs - they'd just sell it as being great atmosphere and gameplay. It's more likely an agreement with MS.

No it's not that, this is a console only game, developed by the people who did the console spin-offs, CoD2 Big Red one, etc. only the 360 saw the real CoD 2.
Don't expect this to be anything special, this isn't made by ID, the guys behind the PC versions. CoD3 is coming out on the PC, but it's going to be called CoD 4. |

Yup was just about to say what Veles did.
100% true, the game is only called that for imo 'upfront marketing purposes' for the next gen consoles. cod3 will be basicly... Call of duty BIG RED ONE 2. Id also like to point out i havent made it though one level of single player cod2, Cannot abide it  So im running away from console only cod3

The majority of reviews I've read for this game have rated it quite high. The only real downsides are a few bugs in the single player.
It still must be a good game to play for CoD fans dispite it not being made by the same developers, am I not correct?  MCITP Trainee |
