    Mortal Kombat Armageddon

Has anyone got the latest in the MK series? I've not bought it on PS2 yet and wanted to hear some first hand reviews of it before I spend my well earned cash! All I've seen so far is the footage on the official site http://www.kreativekilling.co.uk , is it as good as its made out to be? I saw it has over 60 characters?!?!

oh and check out the "happy slapping" thing on the official MK site, actually cant stop LOLing

yea it is pretty cool. Almost all the characters are there, I can't think of any they did not include. All fighters now have two fighting styles (except for a few of the large boss characters who only have one). The create a fighter has a ton of different options, konquest is better than shaolin monks too. The fatality system is way different, it is now a "kreate a fatality" thing, where it works like an extended combo. It takes some getting used to if you just played deception or deadly alliance, i.e. you have to do the combos much faster than deadly alliance. All in all I like it pretty well.

hmm mk:a is pretty good, its great havign so many Kharactors u can be but beign an old skool mk fan i was dissapointed at the new fatality system, it just isnt mortal kombat. also kreate a kharactor isnt as great as it could be endedings dissapointed me also, lazy developers couldnt be bothered to think of fatalitys / decent endings for everyone imo

I dont think they got lazy, perhaps it wasnt possible to put all the data for each of the 60 characters into the game, im actually hopin to see a large list of characters for the next gen versions but I did hear a rumour that they will be starting a whole new rosta of characters with only sub-zero and scorpion making the new next gen games! :O

by the way.... you have 666 posts :O

Humm very good points. I have to agree the next game I sure will have all they characters and I am also sure that Midway will bring out a disc with all Mks on just like sega have done with Sonic. Mk is the best fighting game ever.

    Lowe's system
I'm enjoying it on Wii - it's an ideal way to waste an hour or so, and the Kreate a Fighter is really good fun. The Fatality system is a novel change, but to be honest it's pretty damn difficult to get anything decent to happen from my own experience. Just a few kicks in the nuts, slaps or an arm break if I'm lucky.
