I have a lot of a praise for these people.

These fanboys being as mental as they are, quitting their jobs, postponing marriage, people getting mugged etc and the list goes on.

Things like this are a wake-up call and set them straight. Sorry, no offense, but screw charity or better still consider this a public service. This is a much more worthier cause.

My professor in systems design always comments on how he feels sick that his son is always playing video games like a nut. This clip would really make him feel better =)

spot on, I'm too poor to afford a $3000 console

you missed the point... this day and age has got so stupid that people are "killing" (with guns) each other over these consoles... do you not see the point? so it makes me happy to see that some guys take the sting out of the tail by smashing one up... have people forgotten what life is about?

what precisely was achieved? did anyone in the queue shout "oh my god, i realise now how i've wasted my life, i'm going to go and study sixteenth century poetry instead of play videogames" when they saw an expensive and exclusive item being destroyed?

if someone bought a sexy sports car purely to crash into a tree in front of poor people, would you have any sentiment other than "what a twat, i could have made good use of that"?

i was in gamestop on launch day, and had no desire for a system (not that they had any more to sell than the 6 pre-orders), but that's not to say i can see any value in buying one to destroy

if you've got an issue with sony's console, or ps3 fans in general, stick to saying "omglolz" a lot on irc

What a stupid thing to do, along with the other items the site has smashed up. People have put time and effort into producing that console and people have also been queuing for days to get one. Only to watch some lucky person get one and then smash it up in front of them... What a sad individual destroying the console who clearly has no morals
