I've just added over 300 points this weekend alone playing Viva Pinata, NBA Street Homecourt and doing a Co-op on GoW and playing as the other guy.

I just need to login now and let it all update

For me the achievements are all about getting the most out of games you really like. PGR3 had some really tough achievements but I spent ages trying to get them all just because I love the game. If I don't like a game, I won't bother with the achievements.

I know exactly what you mean with the PGR achievements it took me the best part of 10 months to get all the platinum medals

I havent been on the xbox recently and most of the games I have been playing recently I havent got that far into them, Virtua Tennis and Uefa Champions League spring to mind.

Hopefully should get some free time this weekend so should get to play them a bit more and I was also thinking of renting Battlestations Midway

Those Platinum Medals sure do take some beating! I'd given up on them at one stage then 3-4 months later I picked up the game again and decided not to put it down until I had them!

The Platinum achievement on PGR3 is probably my most satisfying achievement to date, closely followed by finding all 500 Agility Orbs in Crackdown. When I saw that final Orb, my eyes lit up!

P.S where's all the smilies gone from the right hand panel? I wanted a sad smilie

in which case either it will autopause due to controller disconnected, or autopause due to an order from pianata central

you could use a wired controller or a charge cable to stop the controller disconnect.

My brother bought TMNT yesterday, extremely easy achievements on that one (for those looking to increase the Gamer points)
    • Do a characters special move (right shoulder button) = 30 pts x 4 characters,
    • Do a tag move (jump and press X when you've got access to 2 or more turtles)
    • Replay a level and collect a gold coin
    • Complete a level without getting hit (level one is easiest, and you can probably get this without even trying on your first go)
    • The rest are for completing each of the 16 levels. (I completed 6 without any problem in about 2 or 3 hours last night).

Not a brilliant game, It's also extremely linear, but it'll keep your interest long enough to get all the achievement points

    Worth renting for a weekend.

[edit: strange. the r points of gamer points comes out as *'s if all one word]

[Edit 2] Just completed it, got all 1000 pts (puting me back into 4th place - Sorry Superchimp ) Now, back to Oblivion to finish the Fighters Guild.

Discovered a trick, use a wired controller/play and charge kit.

That eliminates the controller going off.

When you leave the game, select a pinata, but don't tell it to do anything, just keep the pinata selected

This eliminates all popups that pause the game, since they wait untill you've finished giving your pinata an order.

EDIT: I think I win for having the most awesome gamerscore possible

Added neonplanet (forum name: neonplanet40) to the leaderboard.

*edit* NUTS! I just noticed that Dangerfrog has reclaimed his 2nd place, I'm back down to 3rd.

+ added a few people from there to my friends list so I can keep track of how badly I'm being beaten
