    Battlefield 2 Unlocks Question...

    Hey guys,

I had a quick google but couldnt find an answer to this...

I play bf2 online but my housemates prefer offline play, is there any way they can play offline but use the weapons i've unlocked or can they *only* be used online?

single player doesnt offer this, and i couldnt see an option when creating a local game either... google suggested editing some python files, but i then read that this only worked with the original copy of the game (ie wont work with 1.41 etc)...

Is it possible, or will i just have to convince them to man-up and play online

I think if you modify an ini file in the game you can unlock all the weapons, but if you play online with that modified file you'll get banned so change it back for online play.

Ah from what you say it might not work though : / Apart from that I've got no ideas.

Why would you not want to play online? Offline play sucks

Well, I can cut it in half!

not everyone can be as 'leet' as us tho eh? found a mod which gives *all* the unlocks, which is overkill but will have to do, ah well

TBH either most people online suck, or I am just god joking aside, if you play online you will get better. If you make a private squad for you all to play in then you wont get any whiney bitches moaning at you all and this way you all get to play togther and work as a team against real people. It is infinitely more satisfying when you kill someone online and you know they will be cussing you from the other side of the world ahh the memories. I need to put down my 360 controller and boot this game up again

There really is no point in the offline play, its not like the ut series where the bots actually provide a challenge.

Well, I can cut it in half!

It's a fun game and would be even greater if it wasn't so damn buggy :<

I was interested in trying out BF2142, but what with all the knew XBOX 360 games out, WoW occupying that 1/3 of my life and exams around the corner I thought against it. Tobeman, unreal and I had some good times though playing BF
