Handy cooler.
It's not so much the cooler that grabbed my attention but the 4 port hub, and various connectors that comes with it. Might be a handy item for someone, that likes having various things connected to thier 360.

Bare in mind that if you buy this you'll have to get new cables to work with it, as the HD/SD AV cable doesn't plug into the back of it (from what I've seen elsewhere).

Another "problem" with this device is that it covers up the mounting holes on the back on the 360 therefore there will be nowhere to mount the wireless adapter.
Suppose you could plug it into the new usb ports on the back or the front or front of the console but this isnt ideal I guess. |

The one Lee @ Scan posted looks like its in a better position... now if that had digital output as well that would be sweet. ![]() MCITP Trainee |

Here's an article about it voiding the warrenty: http://www.xboxic.com/news/1879
Nyko responded by saying they will replace a 360 if it is found to have been scorched by the Cooler, here's an article about that: http://www.xboxic.com/news/2001 |

Ah, now that makes sense.
Good of them to offer to replace the 360s which have been damaged by them, they must be pretty confident in the cooler. ![]() MCITP Trainee |

I've never had overheating issues with mine. Aparently prolonged play with games that have alot of textures to load like Oblivion can heat up the box but not to an exent that it damages it. I think most cases where it does overheat is due to the enviroment that its in, tight spaces with little airflow, hot rooms etc.
