    Joystick is lacking in joy :(

    (welcome 2 move this post if its in the wrong place)

    Ive got a Microsoft SideWinder Pro2 and it works fine in il2:fb but it isn't detected in Bf1942 or Desert Combat and i know its being detected by compy and is calibrated, how can i get it working in Bf1942?

    Any help would be real appreciated

    In a lot of games you have to tell it to use the joystick. I remember this from half-life - though playing FPS's with a joystick sucks if you ask me, lol.

    in bf1942 and DC you need a stick for flying

    Strange my brother has Battlefield 1942 and plays Desert combat and i have set it up to use his Sidewinder Gamepad the old black coloured one that uses the MIDI port and it works very well in both games.

    nah i fixed it by removing my sidewinder gamepad, tah 4 help anyways
