STALKER vs Half life 2

i know many of you heard of stalker and all the screenshots.

but do you think its better than HL 2

to be honest stalker has better graphics and game play (A. I. )
and you can play it 3rd person ( i think).

Stalker does look very good, but there is one screenshot that is nagging me where it looks like the floor has a Quake 3 engine style quality texture to it, and if all the textures are like that, or it does infact look like that when I play it, then I may not be playing for long....

I have seen ALL the videos for it and they do look nice, but there was a distinct lack of....... anything..... in it....

Watched A video of it off pc zone mag, looks quite good, but i dont think it will be as good as half life2 to be honest.

graphically stalker looks great but as pc zone said: 'where's the bloody game?' - or words to that effect, lol.

Although i think stalker does look very very promising and wat iv seen of the graphics it looks superb i still think HL2 will be better due to its shear background. Half Life is the biggest game ever to come out and a turning point in games really i feel Half life 2 will be the same.

i think valve spend too much time on graphics and not game play and A.I.

and the game is out in may
