Battlefield 2 crash when joining online game

    Hi,

When I double click or click join game to go into an online game Battlefield crashes to desktop.

I have tried changing the graphics, I have tried disabling EAX and VoIP like EA said and none have worked.

    Single player works perfectly.

Any ideas why please? I have been playing with no problems for 3 days & now all of a sudden it crashes to desktp when I click join on an online game.

    Thanks,
    Craig.

    Ahhhh, fixed it.

I checked on the TotalBF2 forums and there were quite a lot of fixes for crash to desktop... the one that matched my problem was the CD key one.

I re-entered my CD-key using the code changer exe found in the BF2 install folder & then encrypted it using the program provided in the FAQ (it's in this thread: http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85898)

    Thanks,
    Craig.
