    360 vga cable question.

    Another 360 question

My 360 came with a component cable, but with that, I could only get 576p on DVD films, which looked a lottle bit jaggy on my tv, so I grabbed an official VGA cable and what an awesome difference that has made, images are razor sharp and colours an detail are as good, if not better than my dvd player.

Unfortunately, I seem to be having the washed out colours problem that others seem to be having in games. When I plugged the vga cable in, there was an update, but the colours still look murky/dirty/dull/washed out.

Is this fixable, or do we just have to put up with it?

P.S. Before anyone says that it is my TV, it isnt, I have tested the vga via the pc and it is spot on

    1360x768 for the vga cable.

    1080i for the component cable.

    TV is 1366x768 native.

Edit: I should add that if I hadnt used the component cable first, I wouldnt have noticed this. Also, the washed out colours are more noticable on games and the dashboard than on DVD films.
