Halo on 360
Hi all,
I have a 360, the HDD and the updates. I want to play Halo. Everytime I load the game no matter what resolution has been chosen, the game gets to the white xbox logo and then I get the side menu saying this screen resolution is incompatiable with this game. Please go run and jump. Anyone had a similar problem. The official forums have nothing on it. Cheers Sean |

Tried setting PAL 60/PAL 50 in TV settings? Also tried playing at 420p?

this could well be it. on the back of the 360, flip the switch on the video cable to "TV", and configure the non-HD settings. then flip it back

i'd be surprised if halo doesn't support pal-60, so i suspect it's using the non-hd setting (which is pal-50 by default, unless you configure the xbox in non-hd mode) |

according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._with_Xbox_360 halo 1 doesn't support 60hz, so can't be played with the vga cable
