Hmm... other than the obvious graphical loveliness of Crysis, there really isn't much else to this game.
They say you can cut trees with your gunfire well this has been seen before in several games (Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on the N64 to name but one). Why has no one followed up that brilliant technological acheivement, Geo-Form? I thought this was a brilliant idea also, people no longer get injured, no more limping NPCs in games. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Crysis is crap, far from it, its just that after seeing the videos on Hexus.tv I'm kind of disappointed, it just doesn't seem like a big step forward over the original or indeed any other game. I believe more attention should go into proper evironmental damage like craters left by large explosions etc. and have people limp when shot in the leg. Anyway, Amazon don't even have proper box-art for the game so don't get your hopes up thinking its coming out anytime soon... ![]() PS. DonnagE, your PC is more than prepared for Crysis in the meantime, try FEAR Extraction Point or Rainbow Six: Vegas

If you want realistic player damage models, you might want to check out the Crytek supported mod for Crysis; Obsidian Edge 2 I would post a link but I dont have enough posts for URLS yet...

Looks insanely good. Thats all I'll say about it.
Is there a HD trailer somewhere other than IGN? You got to pay for it on there.
