Flight Sim X
Calling all Flight sim'ers,
Please see my sig for current spec. I currently play flight sim on my macpro which is a very powerful system. I am also about to purchase a 24" panel to enhance my gaming, especially for flight sim. My current X1900XT 512mb card i think will struggle to run at full res. I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a similar GPU to mine running on a 24" screen? Or should i build a new pc with the 8800 series? Thanks all D

I found that an FX-60 System with two 7900gtx 675c in SLI and 2gb of low latency ram was a bit jumpy with FSX at full settings and 1920x1200 res on a 24". I would imagine it would run ok with 8800gtx. Hope this is of help.

No one say you have to run at max settings
 The existence of full setting is for the best graphics card in the market. I personally think unless you are really unsatisfied with not getting the tiniest bit of eye-candies there is always better ways to spend money. Although I might have to see if my 7900GT can take on 3200x1200 at mid setting.
