Oblivion,,, Is anyone still playing this game?

Dude I just fired up my second character, a pure mage, and I'm into it for 50-60-70 hours. I don't know but I'm lovin it. My first character was 40% melee, 30% sneaksee, and 10% mage. Into that one for just a few hours under 300hrs.
There is something about the game that I could just not put it down for the rest of my life,,,
Does anyone else share this point of view?
    Do ya did it?

I love Oblivion and I'm still playing it.

I'm not sure I quite understand the rest of your post

Played it fo about 50 - 60 hours, got annoyed that i closed all the bloody portal things before actually going into most of them. I'd have to agree you post is rather difficult to understand 'Do ya did it?' whats this mean?????

Bought a launch copy, played it for 15 minutes, put it down from boredom.

Played it again a few weeks ago, played for a few hours, quite enjoyed it.. never played it again.

Oblivion just doesn't rock my world .

Played it quite a bit when it was released. But I was hoping for lots of replayability like in Morrowind. I had completed the main quest and was head of mages/fighters/thieves/assassins after about 60hours play. And had done most of the side quests that I had encountered. And only fast travelled to palced I had already gone to on foor.
So I got bored fairly quickly. There didn't seem like there was much more out there to do. The stupid flatly leveled enemies and loot system gives no incentive to explore and level. With morrowind there was a reason to explore and try to get to difficult places, but with oblivion it's not worth it.

Once the second expansion comes out I may try playing again. I stupidly bought the first 2 mini-expansion things, and felt completely ripped off. Very little new content, and didn't add to the game in any way.

I am currently playing Gothic3. Some people report serious bugs on their system, others report none. I am in the latter category. After the first patch it has all ran smoothly. It has a better levelling system than in oblivion, with lots of incentive to explore and return to areas you found difficult the first time round. Looks better as well!

great game i still play an hour or two now and then, i can recommend a great mod for it called Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul 1.31 , it changes so much in the game for the better of course.

I agree with most stuffs people said above, I loved Oblivion too and I played it for more than 250hours and I enjoyed it a lot, but once I finished main/side/guild/daedric quests things get started to become boring. By then I already knew I had most powerful weapons and armours so there was not much point in exploring the world anymore. But for 30quid it lasted well enough and I'm quite satisfied with it. But to be honest I was expecting more especially after something like Morrowind and from my point of view Bethesda could have spent more time on adding game contents rather than making things pretty.

Expansion soon, hopefully it'll add a huge chunk of stuff rather than a few bits here and there like the knights of the nine rubbish

I always end up going back into Oblivion for a few hours a week. I just wish instead of all these cheesy expansions they attack some of the technical shortcomings of the 360 version to make for a more enjoyable experience rather than a breif jaunt in glitch-land. After you get past lvl30 your character is fast enuf to make the Framerate skip every other 10 feet?!! The game has alot of detail and looks awesome if I stand still, but try and move around outside of a city and my 360 starts 2 hiccup.
I'm not complaining about a lack of material, I would reccomend the Wizards Tower download or the Evil Cave, I just wish they had more of a clean interface. Stellar graphics should not have to sacrifice framerate if this is truly "next-gen"

Still play it, still find it interesting, particularly the Nights of the Nine expansion. Looking forward to the new one too. Has to be said though my main squeeze at the moment is Animal Crossing on my DS...

Played it alot on release as I was really looking forward to it, but for some reason it just has not drawn me in as much as Morrowind did.
