| Got to be honest that I'm with Thorsson on this one, the Eclipse looks extremely dated to me. I hate "bling" as much as the next person - it's the P180 that to me exudes simplistic class and elegance, the kind of case that would look at home amongst a nice AV setup. Of course I'm not doubting that the Akasa cases may be easier to work with and have better cooling... I guess it comes down to weighing up the pros and cons with each. If you actually like the look of the Eclipse then I guess it's a simple decision, but I'd go for the looks of the P180 and put-up with it's slighlty poorer practical design and cooling (if that is indeed the case). |

| My CM Centurion looks pretty from the outside, on the inside its a pain in the nuts to work with, I'd prefer elegance over tarting any day. Not that you couldn't spice up the eclipse if you still prefer form over function. Originally Posted by Agent

| Oh no, I HATE toolless assembly with a pasion. They just annoy me something silly, it's another example of over-engineering something that should be simple. Originally Posted by Agent

| Over 500 posts and I can guarantee a fair few of them are me recommending the eclipse. To put it simply it's one of the nicest cases around. It's like a high end car. Just because it doesn't have all these sharp angles and flashing lights does not mean its ugly, it just means that those with some sense of style appreciate its looks. Not to mention the fact that the cooling is superb, it’s gorgeous on the inside (no case I have seen comes with such good looking internals) it's one of the easiest cases to build in because you can removes EVERYTHING! And I mean that, if you want you can have just the bare chassis with the front panel LED's and the 5 1/4" bays, nothing else. I need to start taking better care of my eclipse, too many finger prints on the highly polished motherboard tray. ![]() That's an old shot now, removed the Cathodes and switched coolers (and everything else TBH) but you get the idea Last edited by Madafwo; 02-03-2007 at 07:45 PM.. |

| You got that lit up lovely there, did you not think of getting a windowed side panel (or is that it on, hard to tell with the low res pic)? Originally Posted by Agent
