    Thanks for the hasty reply clunk, seems the link width is x1, tried upping the pci-e freq to 110 still stays at x1. Could this be because the card is not sitting properly ?

    Isnt the card sitting properly?

    if it isnt, push it in.

    You can try 115, 120, its only to unstick it.

    Well took the card out and put it back in , worked fine at 16x. Lying case on side with card not screwed in. Screwed card in , restarted and stood case up and it went back to 1x , so seems its not sitting securely. At least i know the prob now ill sort it out 2moro thx.

    Thanks man, Im proud Btw on the 1st page of this guide u have a link to Orthos, Is that an updated version or shud I check for any updated versions? Also shud I run some kinda temperature program to log the temps will Orthos is doing its stuff, sorry Im new at this kinda stuff

    That link should be fine.

    Just keep an eye on it for about 20-30 mins, then check back every so often if the temps are getting up a bit, or turn the fans up

    I have the fans set on auto cos I dont have a fan controller yet. But they do seem to turn up when the cpu is under load so it shud sort it out by itself I hope

    Ok been doin Orthos blend test and Im watching temps on Tat cos I cant seem to find temps on Orthos. Tat has CPU0 40 degrees top but down to 39 now, CPU1 is stayin at 37 sometimes 36, and the fans havent even kicked in, well they just going slowly

    lol I hope not, ok well I just got back so Im gonna try now. Instaed of tryin many different Fsb's, do u think I cud try 400 from the start and put the multiplier on 8 so its 3.2? I know this isnt the best method and i dont reccomend it to anyone, but I fell brave
