| Has developed fish hoof. | For starters, you wont get very far with 667Mhz RAM, you will be lucky to get past 2.7Ghz. RAM can be picked up really cheaply at the moment, and to overclock properly, you will need some new stuff. I notice in your sig that you are wanting some dominators/reapers, well, I would also say to have a look at the Crucial Ballistix RAM as well. What CPU cooling are you using? Yes, you shouldnt need to add any vcore to get where you are now really. |

| Has developed fish hoof. | I would advise you not to even try to overclock using 667Mhz ram and the stock cooler, they just arent made for it. You need a half decent cpu cooler and a minimum of PC2-6400 RAM. If you still want to do it, please follow the guide from start to finish. All the info that you need is in there. |

| Has developed fish hoof. | You will be fine with a minimal overclock, but you cant really expect too much from it, thats all I was saying ![]() Always glad to help. |

| ![]() that is really nice of you. well i thought from 2.13 to 2.32 Ghz is really a minimal overclock and it wont affect my system. (i have decided to go for Dominator TwinX PC2-8500 and Zalman CNPS9700 CPU cooler). its not related to the thread though. |

Either buy some RAM that is suitable for overclocking, or go for a modest overclock that your RAM will allow ![]() If you have tried everything in the troubleshooting part, and it still isnt working, then it sounds like you have possibly killed your RAM. Its unlikely that you have killed both sticks, but as you have followed all of the troubleshooting tips, you must have already tried both sticks individually in all of the slots, so it could be time for RMA. | errr Clunk,my 1st ORTHOS and TAT analysis was a disaster. at 2.42 GHZ,temperature was shown 95 C within half an hour at 100%load.ambient temp.=38 C. i think i need a good AC first and then fancy overclocking. gpu temperature also went high, about 75 C n from there on,i m having small artifacts(also big ones but rare) while playing games at high graphics.i think i hv screwed my PC ![]() . |

| Has developed fish hoof. | Orthos doesnt do anything to the GPU. If you had 95c CPU temps, you should have stopped it. Your cooling clearly isnt fitted properly. Did you get a new cooler and RAM? |
