| Hey guys, I pushed my FSB up to 355 @ 1.325v and 6 hours in, orthos stopped. Now I haven't rebooted since its given me this error but everything seems to be fine. What would be the cause of this hardware failure? Temps were just below 60C according to CoreTemp. 1:Test 8, 27000 Lucas-Lehmer iterations of M2785281 using 160K FFT length. 1:FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.4998779297, expected less than 0.4 1:Hardware failure detected, consult stress.txt file. 1:Torture Test ran 6 hours, 15 minutes 43 seconds - 1 errors, 0 warnings. 1:Execution halted. 2:Torture Test ran 6 hours, 15 minutes 43 seconds - 0 errors, 0 warnings. 2:Execution halted. |

| Really nice of you to take the time to put all that together, Clunk, with that I might finally give it a go... have been seriously underwhelmed with the performance of my E6600 but can't put my finger on exactly "why"... Thanks very much DM |

| Has developed fish hoof. | By subtimings, I mean these; TRRD Rank Write to Read Delay Read to Precharge Delay Write to Precharge Delay probably by default, they are set to 10. Sometimes it can really help to enter the correct ones. Its worth a google to find these out, maybe somewhere like the Geil website? If the voltage is on auto, it is very possibly on 1.8v, which is the JEDEC standard for DDR2, have a look at the specs for your ram, its probably 1.9-2.2v or something like that, so it could be that it just needs the extra bit of welly. |

| Has developed fish hoof. | Try it and see. Is there anything on the sticks that says to run it at 1.8v? If not, run it at the 2.1v like it says on the label You can come back to it later and try and reduce the voltage a bit, but for now, I would feed it the 2.1v. |

| Right quick question, whats the maxium amount of juice I can safely push through a E6400 for normal day to day use as I'm currently at 1.35v but usually fail orthos 3-hrs in, although Im stable in every game I play?????? |

| Has developed fish hoof. | There is no safe limit mate, anything over stock and you risk killing it, just go for whatever temps are acceptable to you for the cooling you have. |
