Stock is 1.325, so at 1.35 you've only nudged it up slightly. |

| Fantastic. guide I now have my E6600 running at 3.2Ghz, stock voltage and a temp of 45*c under load running Orthos for the past 12 hours. I will try for more when the CPU is run in for a few days. Thanks again for a fantastic easy to follow guide. ![]() Last edited by yan816; 04-04-2007 at 08:05 AM.. Reason: Incorrect temp |

| I've managed to hit 366x9 = 3294mhz @1.3500v but orthos failed an hour in, and the Nbridge hs is literally too hot to touch, I almost burnt my finger. Lowered the FSB to 360 and just seeing how that goes, seems to be idling at 50~C I want to hit 3.6ghz, but I believe the temps would begin to get too high for my liking ![]() Should the Nbridge hs be as hot as that?! (Asus probe seems to thinks its at 44C, but I beg to differ) oh and LOL at your mobo in your system clunk, hahaha Last edited by Oobie-; 04-04-2007 at 03:51 PM.. |

| I've read that the NB does indeed get hot when upping the FSB. Some people have found that the NB HS does not make very good contact with the NB itself, and reseating with new TC helps. Also, you can use the fan that came with the mobo to help cool the NB. A more drastic measure would be to buy a new NB HSF. |

![]() My NB on my P5B stayed around 32c under load, but its got a waterblock on it. If you want to keep the Asus cooler, take it off and check if its flush, if it isnt, you can easily bend it until it is, then remove the thermal paste that asus made from concrete, and put some AS5 or ceramique on there. |

| Right second question, how do I go about finding out the temperature of the nothbridge or is it not possible, in uGuru, all I've got is cpu, system, pwn phase 1 all the way to pwn phase 5. |
