    Updating BIOS on Foxconn Motherboard

Grr I have the Foxconn mobo in my sig and an Opteron 144, problem is BIOS temps report the Opteron to be in the 55 degrees C range. I've reseated the HS/F several times and temps are still crazy so downloaded PC Wizard to fine the temps are below 30.

This leads me to think I need to flash the BIOS.

I downloaded the BIOS file (.bin) from the Foxconn website, put it on a FD and booted from the FDD and it doesn't seemed to have updated the BIOS.

Anyone updated a Foxconn BIOS before that could help me ?

    Cheers...

nvm, using the superupdate Windows utility now.

Annoying thing is I have the K8MD not K8MA as originally though and the Foxconn website shows no BIOS updates for that motherboard. :/

BIOS temp detection for CPU can't be righ can it ?
