    520w Corsair PSU

    Hi,

Hopefully I'll soon be able to get the following spec:

    C2D E6600
    8800GTX
    500GB Seagate 7200.10
    P35_DS3R

I just wondered if the 520W Corsair HX Series PSU will do a sufficient job.

Also, will the 520W Corsair HX Series handle upgrades? e.g. another 500GB HDD, another 2GB RAM, a quad core CPU?

    Thanks,
    Craig.

I'd get the 620w version just to be on the safe side, especially if you want to add things on later.

yeh 620W for future. esp as it's a GTX not a GTS you're having. u might even need more if you're planning or ever consider SLI GTX!

too many people skimping on their PSU! not if you're on hexus tho i hope!

    hope that helps.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll be best off spending that little bit extra and going for the 620w

    Thanks,
    Craig.
