| Flat cap, Whippets, Cave. | Have you updated the bios? Update the bios, then clear the cmos, and try again |

| Well, your in the same boat as me. Did a bios update in windows & the mobo died. I'v been reading up & the best\safest method of updating the bios on the P5K is ezFlash. Looks like its RMA time for you |

| Sadly, NO, its a bummer I know. You got a bios did not verify msg, Yes? then tried it a few more times with same result. the bios is screwed. It been mentioned on various P5K threads all over the net. |

| Dont let it get to you, once you'v built yourself a few systems, problems like this look like minor issues. Its a great mobo, one of the best I have used & I'v been through a few in my time. |

| Flat cap, Whippets, Cave. | Try the crash free bios thing with the Asus CD. |

| Flat cap, Whippets, Cave. | Use the Asus CD, it has the shipping bios on it. Just fire the pc up and leave it. In theory, it should be able to recover from it. |
