    Does Overclocking Void Warrenty?

    Hi,
I was just wondering if overclocking voids a warrenty as I am trying to sell my Intel E6400 on Ebay but I don't know if I can say it comes with the warrenty or not. My other question is, if overclocking does void the warrenty is there any way Intel can tell you have been overclocking?
    Thanks

Intel would not know if your chip have been damaged due to overclock if you don't do the followings:
    1. Increase cpu voltage (VID) to the point that you fried the circuit
    2. Remove the heat spreader (IHS)
    3. Use exotic cooling (anything that cools the CPU below 0'C)

Nowadays overclocking is quite safe and rarely damage the chip unless you go for the extreme.

Oh yeah, removing the IHS, using conductive ink to link up pins (suppose you can rub that off though) and lapping the IHS will void the warranty but anything else should be fine.
