|  Need advice for 4GB (2x2GB) Ram Kits I am looking at completing my new build within the next few weeks. However I do not know what 4GB kit to go for. I am aware that there are very good 2GB kits e.g. the Crucial Ballistix. I would like to upgrade to 8GB sometime in the distant future 3-5 years time, without having to throw ram away or sell on auction sites. I have a budget of between £200-£225. The ram must be at least DDR2 PC2-6400. At the present time main system parts look like: Motherboard: Asus Blitz Formula SE Processor: Q6600 G0 Processor Fan: Thermalright Ultima-90i Graphics: 8800GTS 640MB These parts have not been bought yet. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks. |

| Re: Need advice for 4GB (2x2GB) Ram Kits Just a thought - in all likelihood when you come to upgrade RAM in 3-5 years the likelihood is that DDR3 will be the dominant force. This may affect your decision is all, just wanted to put some perspective on things.
