| Re: Difference between asus p5k deluxe wifi and p5k preimium wifi See here http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1...49&modelmenu=1 and read the first paragraph, as far as i can tell that gives any differences, like AI Audio2, although have to agree that unless you know the specs there is no visible difference from the pics. | Re: Difference between asus p5k deluxe wifi and p5k preimium wifi can i ask a question? I also was planning to get a wifi board but in the end i though it was better to get a non wifi board and then add a wifi pci card - then you don't have this long antenna cable coming from the mb....is there something about a wifi board that i am missing? |

| Re: Difference between asus p5k deluxe wifi and p5k preimium wifi I don't think there is any difference, although if you need the extra PCI slots the on-board one might be more useful, especially if they get blocked due to GPU coolers. Last edited by master811; 30-09-2007 at 01:12 AM.. |

| Re: Difference between asus p5k deluxe wifi and p5k preimium wifi thanks master811! hey pompalomp, if you have a spare pci slot, you should consider a wif pci card, since they usually have just a normal antenna sticking right next to the card (i.e. neater)... for wifi boards and i think asus ones, they have this plug and then this long cable AND then is the normal antenna on this base....seems very clumsy ( but i guess it might receive signals better) |
