    Question Passive northbridge cooler

For quite some time the small fan on my northbridge has made quite some noise but recently it's gotten excessive and more annoying becasuse isn't a constant noise like it used to be.

Anyway, it's an old machine with msi 845pe-max2 motherboard and uses loops to keep the cooler fan in place. I bought a passive cooler in the past, but one with pins instead (didnt check before buying).

So would like a passive cooler that uses the loops and not an adhesive pad. Zalman NBF-47 looks good but i have limited room and pretty sure it won't fit, i have also seen the Revoltec northbridge freezer but the picture i have seen looks like it needs to use 4 loops, and i only have 2. So can anyone recommend a passive cooler that uses 2 loops for fitting?

    Thanks.

Would it be possible to fit a Zalman cooler if you 'modded' it by cutting bits away?

yeah guess i could chop bits off but that would depend on how strong the metal was, yeah hadn't really thought of that as an option.
inlbt23 i posted the motherboard in the above post, quite old now but still works.

The metals quite soft - I've bent it to shape on more than one occasion with no hassle.
