    my travla 134 arrived...

travla 134 arrived yesterday with RAM and a 1gmz M1.

one problem - its an utter BITCH to put together. no really, this this is so cramped it hurts.

once the lid is on its not coming off - so if anyone has any questions they want answering, ask them now! +D

    What's a Travla 134?

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

its quite possibly the smallest pc you could build.

heres a picture of mine (the reason its not all together is that i'm booting from my main pc's cd drive - til i get gentoo on it, thats how it will be........)

Smart... How much? (mini-itx.com are out of stock so they don't say!)

And how much would a slim dvd drive be for that thing?

Over 100 notes for that tiny thing?? Ouch!!

Plus the MII-10000 at 150 notes = top dollar!

    well i'm not sure if you'd get a MII in there - but a M1 - 1ghz fits ok.

you could always put a laptop drive in BUT you would then require low profile RAM (i needed to bring out the hacksaw to get standard RAM in).

If oyu have no need for an optical drive (or have an external one) then its not too hard to put together.

oh and bear in mind the price includes a 60w external "brick" power supply - those things are pretty hefty in the pocket!

i'm thinking of putting a 3 inch cold cathode in there though....

    BLU of course!
