Re: P35 or X-38 I was very interested in the iX-38 as new board that would support me upgarding to a quad core sometime next year. However, after reading this thread, I'm very worried. I'm willing to wait for the iX-48, but I need a new mobo now. Is the IP-35 still worthwhile?

Re: P35 or X-38 The IP-35 is a great board. You can't go wrong with it for £70. Essentially you could spend £130+ or whatever X38's cost now or upgrade the IP35 in a couple of years if you feel the need, where the £50+ saved plus a little extra will buy you a far superior board to the X38

Re: P35 or X-38 I am very happy with my Asus P5K-E board.... I have a quad and this board has 8-phase power which is needed to get a good overclock out of the quad... I have had no issues running it for the last 3 months.. overclocked to 3ghz on retail fan. highly reccommend
