RAM - Corsair Value or Twinmos?

I should be getting a couple of sticks of 256mb PC3200 RAM, so should I go for Twinmos or Corsair Value (Normal Corsair is a bit too expensive for me).

    Thanks

Also, will it help with my overclocking? I have old, slow memory, and when i try to increase the fsb (1800+ thoroughbred at 166fsb) it just beeps at me, doesn't even go to BIOS screen, so i have to reset the BIOS..

    My motherboard is an NF7-S

Might get "TwinMOS PC3200 DDR-DIMM 512MB Dual Pack Kit w/two matched PC3200 CL2.5 DDRs" frpm komplett.co.uk, otherwise probably from cpucity.co.uk

well if your 1800 is unlocked then you'll want to put your fsb and ram speeds to 400 and drop your multiplier to ?8? to get full benefit of the ram with default cpu speed. well 1.6ghz.

You can then o/c your fsb / multi from there dude

The dual pack has Twinmos chips rather than Winbond. Winbond chips are higher quality and will allow tighter timings and better overclockability .

Thanks, I'll get the Winbond chips then, although it is exactly the same price as the ones I posted if I get two (well, 1p off..)

Means you'd be getting better quality RAM for the same price with the winbond chips then .

Any thoughts as to whether new RAM will solve the problem? And do the CPU and RAM run at the same speed by default (NF7-S). If not, where in the BIOS are the settings for it?

Well it'll mean your memory isn't limiting you for sure. If I remember correctly the Memory is set at 1:1 with the FSB by default on the NF7-S.
