ebuyer for very cheap, there was a website posted in a thread over the last couple of days which did loads of cables with free shipping over £10. I'm not sure if they did SATA cables though. Any mention of overclockers should come with a warning to check: http://users.hexus.net/companies_list.php

I've got a mid size tower, do you think that 0.5m will be long enough?

50cm should easily be enough, it's about the entire height of a midsize tower!

    Can you but them smaller?
All I need is ~10cm to get from mobo to HDD, if that...

& before anybody says anything - no, I haven't finished tidying the cables!

hey TEEPEE i think any mention of Ebuyer shoudl come with a warning:- http://users.hexus.net/companies_list.php as it is lower than Overclockers. When they get it wrong they really get it wrong!

and Buff, very tidy case and good choice of mobo

Yep, but ebuyer doesn't have a forum filled with 20 loyal supporters specifically asked to post comments on that list to bring their rating up. (Look at the entries placed on 1/12/03)

Not to credit either company, but they are aimed at different markets. ebuyer are the pack 'em in, sell 'em cheap distributor, and when I've had to return things to them I've expected to have a little hassle, more than I've had, in fact. Ocuk try to look like a respectable company, which fools people into expecting a level of service from them. Also the type of faults are different. Ebuyers failings are the result of the utter incompetence of their staff and returns system, which is designed to make returning goods as difficult as possible. Ocuk abuse the sale of goods act as a policy.
