old AMD hardware question
Back in the day when AMD was king I bought an pre-built Evesham PC. It had an AMD 64 3500+ socket 939 CPU on a MSI K8 Neo2 Platinum mobo.
I am looking to do a small upgrade to this before finally throwing in the towell and doing a self build; am I able to run AMD Athlon 64 X2 processors with this mobo? P.S. I have bought a new stacker 832 as my new chassis for my new build. |

Re: old AMD hardware question
According to the MSI K8 Neo2 Platinum CPU support list you are indeed. Just make sure you're flashed to the right BIOS version.
