    Speakers...

I'm looking for some decent speakers for my pc. Mainly for listening to music, in-game sounds and some movies. I've looked around but I don't know whats rubbish and what isn't.

Anyone know some decent pc speakers, around the £20 mark, which give ok-ish sound...doesn't need to be anything brilliant?

    Thanks.

See to be perfectly honest, I haven't a clue. Googled it...came up with nothing.

    Whats the difference between them?

    Re: Speakers...

2.1 is 2 desk speakers and a subwoofer..
and 2.0 is just 2 desk speakers

i'd have a look at those Logitech ones i suggested in my first post..
i have a set of Logitechs and they give brilliant sound quality!
althought mine are a 5.1 set and cost £55

Logitech X-540's if you want to have a look..

I also have X-540's. Easily worth the extra £30 for what you get

    Re: Speakers...

Nah, my room is tiny, surround sound isn't for me.

Might take a look at those logitech 2.0 you suggested, they look pretty good. Cheers.

Might wait a week or two, and get better ones then. Still got to get a good mouse and keyboard as well, thats the problem

those speakers are quite good.. but the bass on them is extremely loud compared to how loud the speakers are..

i agree with Tigerboyce, the X-540's are well worth the extra £30.. and the small room could be an advantage in terms of positioning the speakers..

1 either side of your monitor
    1 below/above your monitor
    2 behind you
and a subwoofer for explosions and deep bass during songs.. (chav beats )

Hmmm, I'll think about it. I'll have to wait a while until I have enough money for them though.

Meh, I guess I'll go for them. I've got an HD monitor, no point not having great sound quality as well

I don't like the look of the X-530's at all, much rather pay the extra and get the good looking ones .

How big is my room? 1.5m x 2.5m. Right now, I'm actually under my bed. No joke . Tiniest room in the world.
