Hd htpc

Good Afternoon All,

So I was on my break at work thinking "I could do with an HD Capable HTPC" for my 37" HD TV (only 720p). Then I stumbled across these forums and found the below:

I thought, you seem like a helpful / friendly lot, perhaps I could get some advice.

I have built a few computers (not many 5/6) so hopefully I won't ask any questions that are too stupid (but if I do, bear with me). I'm looking to build an HTPC that can play most HD content I throw at it as well as possibly some emulation and CS:Sourse (as this is the only game I really play). I have an okay 5.1 system I'd like to use with it but I'm not too bothered about that. Would the system outlined in the first topic do the trick do you reckon? Anyways thanks in advanced guys.

Does anyone know if either of those would run CS:S on a 37" 720p TV?
