Custom PC Magazine rips hell outta CPU's :-)

Mag arrived today.....it really is a fine read.

ANd this month.....26 cpus get matched up.....and they do some serious encoding as well as playing PC games.

And lets not beat around the bush.....64bit and P4e rocked....

there are points in this article where the Celerons are whooping (in context...more like tickling but still winning) XP's

    Quite quite worth reading guys....
The final Value for Money chart is then the final round up...cos then the score is pitched vs the price...

so everyone with an XP2500 can chill out and STOP typing abuse at me....

Its near the top (we all knew that anyway...) BUT a 3.0 Gig P4 c owns them all....even the low rate 64bit jobbers from the Germans.

And overclocking IS taken into account too.....

Go to the shops, and BUY it.....awesome reading...again

Yup, mine flopped on the mat this morning too, still sealed though. Tis my girlfriends 21st today, so will have a read of it later.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Got to agree, CustomPC mag is very fine indeed, and kind of lead me to hexus.net!

As my wife is in hospital at the moment I've spent a lot of time sat next to her bed analysing the mag.

heh .. we get it delivered at work and I'm always the first to read it on the throne at home ( thats the only place I can get some peace & quiet - sorry for the mental imagery this early on a Saturday morning )

Wonder if the new 1 is here yet?

hmm I'm going to ring stores to see if a delivery from CPC came in

It's the centre of the whole world )

I just saw my wife. She's pregnant and has hypermesis (extreme morning sickness). Pretty grim, but not life threatening. She was grotty with me, so obviously on the mend !!!
