| Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? On today only at Scan. http://www.scan.co.uk/product.aspx?ProductId=28370 Is anyone using this board at the moment? Do you think it's a good buy, re reliability etc. Seems to have no e-sata, going to use it with a i core 930. I need to make a purchase if opinions are favourable by tomorrow. All comments appreciated, thank you for looking. Heaven Is Beautiful |

| I R Toff Pandi! | Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? Word on the DFI front is deathly silent ATM TBH... It's looking like they are missing Computex, when they are literally just up the road. Plus samples have all but died with nothing coming out of anywhere, Bit-tech or anything... Plus DFI sales seem to be all but dead in the UK. I seriously hope that they are not going to follow Abit. Hopefully it is just a quiet period for them ![]() Tip-top boards though ![]() Only you can answer the e-sata question, as it is only a deal breaker if you actually want it... |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? Was only a few weeks back when they released the Mini-ITX P55 board. Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?" IGN: "IGN doesn't normally update on the weekend, but this is Halo so normal rules don't apply." CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog." TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan" for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0. |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? I have been looking for a good board, 'high' price was a problem, but this looks like a good price on today only. Other option is pay £46 more and get the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R, a very high price to pay for e-sata. Heaven Is Beautiful |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? You could get the DFI board - they make good boards and generally have a good reputation If you find you absolutely need e-SATA you can add it later e.g. http://www.scan.co.uk/Product.aspx?W...source=froogle |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? Not a wise choice if you're planning to use a Seasonic PSU (or Seasonic-built PSU, such as most of the Corsair HX range) with it. Mine wouldn't boot at all (with a perfectly fine Seasonic X900), and neither would many others, and the official word form DFI support on their forums was "they have known compatibility issues with Seasonic PSUs". Says quite a bit about DFI when they won't work with the best series of PSUs on the market, but there you go. Not saying it won't work, but if you get the "8B" error and no POST (even in a years time, as I did), you can almost guarantee what the problem is. |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? DFI used to be one of the best board manufacturers for achieving high overclocks, especially on the 939 series cpu's. I have used gigabyte for years but i feel the standard is starting to slip as ive had 2 boards fail on me in 12months. Just built the mrs dad a pc and upgraded my HTPC, i used asus boards in both. Ide see if asus make a nice board and consider one. |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? I got this DFI board on the Today Only deal as well. £111 was too good a price to miss. I think the reason it was going cheap was the T3eH6A has now been released but I'm not sure what the difference is. Eitherway I'm very happy with it so far but as is typical with DFI boards they have far too many bios options! Go to Clunk's Forums and read Supershanks' living review of this board, it'll give some great pointers for overclocking the board :http://www.clunk.org.uk/forums/revie...ng-review.html |

| Re: Is the DFI DK X58-T3eH6, Intel X58 a good board? I personally own a DFI x58 matx board and its been rock solid. Personally have a soft spot for the newer Gigabyte and Asus boards, but these DFI 's can not be under estimated. They are very capable boards and although mine is a mere matx it managed to clock my i7 920 to 4.2ghz stable. Manages 3.7ghz with 12GB ram so pretty decent all round. Only down side is the bios update method. Rather a pain. Via USB pen ect. Hope this helps.
