for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
All Amd need to do is get the pricing right!
Looks like the clockspeeds have been leaked:

The 125W 1075T has a clockspeed of 3GHZ.
95W Hexa-core, puts to shame the rest of the Phenom range.

This thread is worth looking at:

It seems that the Turbo Mode on the X6 1055T is 3.3GHZ if the information is correct.

The newer Phenom II processors are meant to have some sort of Turbo Boost like technology:

Hmm, these chips just became a lot more viable...
Yup - sounds like I might be upgrading my HTPC too!
Or maybe not. We should see some very interesting benchmark results from these when they finally get released - anyone got any leaks on a date?
Supposedly they will be released on the 26th of April:

Here are some details about the Phenom II X6:
http://www.amdforum.se/content/258-p...-prissatt.html
The 3.2GHZ Phenom II X6 will have a Turbo Boost frequency of 3.6GHZ!
If this post is true then the Turbo Boost will on upto 4 core:

If upgrading to X6, wouldnt an AM2+ motherboard seriously compromise system performance? If budget allows better to go for new motherboard/cpu combo
That is going to depend on what you run on it.
I run a quad core atm, and I believe my workload fits nicely in L3 cache so I stuck with DDR2. I will be watching the X6 pricing very keenly, my wife could use my existing quad core chip as an upgrade
In some games DDR3 buys you a few percent improvement on the quad cores, so if DDR2 is already a penalty on quad core it isn't going to get any better with 6 cores!
