| HAHAHAHAH! If my exchange rates serve me right, that means you want 2 well made, brand name, 512 sticks with low latencies for somewhere in the vicinity of 110 USD (I might be off, never really good with foriegn currency)! I'm pleased with myself if I could find a really nice matched pair set for that much. Currently, the lowest price I can find for a 2x512 matched pair set is 245 for CAS 2 Geil ram(www.pricewatch.com). However, if you don't care about matching pairs (it's overrated, it really doesn't make a difference), there are plenty of cheaper options. For instance, there are GeIL 512mb sticks with acceptable timings for 94 dollars each(www.newegg.com). If you don't like GeIL, however, you could go to Mushkin, Corsair, or OCZ. Kingston is good as well but I've never personally used their memory so I can't really go on about them. Corsair is pricey, as is Mushkin, so if you want to keep with that 50 pound limit (which really isn't possible), try OCZ(104 for a 512 stick at www.newegg.com). Good luck and cheers, mate. |
