    Question Good 2.1 speakers?

I have found these speakers, but I don't know if they are any good:

    http://packardbell.co.uk/products/node1683.asp

The speakers are called "Flat NXT Speakers - Woofer" and are at the top right of the page. I have found these for £19.99.

Is it the amounts of watts that I need to look out for, and if so how many watts are OK - I'm not looking for top of the range speakers, just as cheap as possible, but not bad ones!

Are there any better speakers than these for a very similar price, in either black or silver if these aren't any good?

Also, do speakers need a plug for power, or can they just run off the power from the computer?

    Thanks

I just bought a very nice set of Logitech z-2200 2.1 Speakers

PC World shop price is £150 but I got them from Pixmania for £106 delivered.

    Well worth considering

Sorry the link didn't work - I have now updated it to go to the paclard bell site instead.

I really really think £100+ is way too much for a set of speakers. If possible, I don't want to go above £30. Are the ones I've found OK?

Umm, do you really need speakers?

I mean, at that price range, you can get a semi-decent headphones (Koss Porta Pro), but I do not really know of any speakers at that price range that are particularly.. outstanding. If I really must get a set of speakers at that price point, I'd probably just get the nicest looking one
