    Smile Gaming Rig

    Hi All

Im looking to buy a new gaming rig but im unsure if i should wait for the new graphics cards and vista or just go ahead now and buy. Im looking to spend £1200-£1500.

    Spec:
    P180 Case
ASUS P5W DH Deluxe i975X mobo
    Core 2 Duo 6600/6700 + Zalman CNPS9500
    2 x Ati 1950 in crossfire setup?
    600w seasonic psu
    2 GB of PC6400
    150 GB raptor hd
    Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme
    DVD recorder

Will the mobo be ok to accept the next generation of processors and graphics cards?
Could you recommend areas where i can improve/downgrade?

    Thanks in advance

Probably not worth the extra for the 6700 over the 6600 and maybe get a second hard drive, a 7200 rpm model to store your files keeping the system drive clear.

Are you looking at 2x 1950pros or xts? As Gonzo said might be worth waiting a week for the launch of G80 to see where everything stands and if ati will do a price cut on their high end cards.
