    My 13 year old Son made scotch eggs today



    His idea was to put chilli powder in the breadcrumbs and they are absolutely yummy

    He does want to be a Chef when he's older, he's always experimenting and it's great ( most of the time ) to taste the results

    Home made scotch eggs are brilliant!

    I've only discovered them recently, never liked the idea of them when i was younger.

    As an asside, they have a weird variation on these here in Nigeria. Instead of sausage meat, they use a kind what i think is a thick donut batter. Often served at mid morning and mid afternoon breaks on the platform here. They are actually quite good, and fill you up if you have missed breakfast (as i have been doing recently).
