Based on a bloody mary, but soup.
Found at the supermarket today, and while not home made is fantastic ![]() TiG |

Re: Vodka and tomato soup :-)
ergh! God i hate vodka drowned in all sorts of concoctions.
Ministry of Sound have launched a vodka intended to be drunk in its natural state - as a frozen shot!Which it states has been distilled for optimum freezing...well we'll see but until i get my hands on a bottle the promotional video suggests its almost as good as well...see for yourselves youtube.com/watch?v=ACgEC05lnG4 ![]() |

Tomato Soup with Mascapone cheese (soft Italian white cheese) in it is lovely. Put the Mascapone in while heating the soup so it mixes in completely by the time it is hot. Better than putting cream in it!

My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

Re: Vodka and tomato soup :-)
Pasta with a vodka sauce is good too.
Cook some pasta (penne /tubes or conchigli/shells) Mean while fry some chopped onions lightly...until soft but with no colour to them...low heat. Then....MAX the heat under the onions and after 15 seconds, pour in a massive slug of vodka, and then as it sizzles, lean the pan over sideways so the flame catches the fumes and burns off the alcohol.... normally works only once, so do it right.... then pour in a bigswig of cream and stir.... Drain the pasta, mix the sauce in and stir. Grind black pepper over and serve ![]() Simple.....delicious ![]() |
