I need a fork, a knife, 50 gallons of BBQ sauce, 3 tonnes of salsa and some onion rings. And a regular Coke...

*Yes I know you can control a fire by starting one deliberately, such as in managing forest fires. My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

Re: Uruguay grills 12 tonnes of beef
Well at least they've got the weather for a BBQ over there.
Last year I had 1 BBQ and in the end we used the cooker as the weather turned on us and made it impossible to cook. I could murder a steak about now, medium please with some hot sauce to give it a kick

Never tried hot sauce though, spiciest thing I've had is probably a Chicken Madras from my local Indian takeaway - is it definitely worth trying, and if so what brand? |

Another tasty alternative is to top the steak with salsa, a few tortilla chips and melt some cheese over the top. |

Re: Uruguay grills 12 tonnes of beef
Right, hang on- 1000 'barbecue addicts', 12,000kg of beef = 12kg of beef each? I like my steak, but I couldn't eat 15% of my own bodyweight of it....

![]() ![]() Seriously though, have you ever tried it medium (or even rare)? I know a lot of people are put off by the blood, but I've not known one yet that went back to having it well done after we told them to shut their eyes and try it. Even my father in law who used to incinerate his steak now has it medium.
.Piri-Piri is also a good choice as previously recommended. My favourite sauce recently has been a bottle of Encona Cajun sauce (again from Tescos 'Ethnic' section). It's a combination of habaneros and mustard and it goes an absolute treat with sausages, and lots of other stuff .
