Tossing food
Any guides out there on how to toss food in a pan whilst cooking a la Ramsey. I tried it last night and just managed to cover to cooker. Any hints?

First hold the pan and "shuffle" it forward and backwards....do it over and over, over the heat....you soon get to "feel" how far the food moves.
Then doing it same way, as the food is sliding away from you (as you pull pan towards you) flip the far edge a little so that the food just skips into the air a fraction and practive more and more like that,. I learned to do it with Rice (uncooked) in the garden ![]() |

it works for practicing..and is cheap and even if you do it indoors, hoovers up easily...promise
